The main function of AutoText Backup is backup and restore AutoText on device. Where on OS 6 can not be done through Desktop Manager.

How to use is simple. Install the app "Backup AutoText" it first on your BlackBerry. then after installed, just click the necessary button. On the AutoText Backup there are only 3 Button that function, namely:
Delete: delete the AutoText on device. On some devices there is can not delete net. There are four remaining AutoText (ftp, https, html and www) and one could remove everything, including the 4th AutoText earlier. Until now this feature has not been fixed, maybe other developers could help give input.
Backup: for saving all existing AutoText on the device to a file located in the root folder of memory card with the name autotextbackup.dat. For v0.8 (not yet released) in make backup files to specific folders and file extensions atb replaced and added to the date when those in the backup AutoText
Restore: to restore AutoText that has been in the backup back to the device. In v0.8 that will be released next, this feature could choose the backup file which will be on the restore.
